Loveday Heptane

Caption from 2021:

Just one idea for a Loveday headcanon, we don’t really know enough about her right now but what we do know is so tantalising

• cytherea (+ dulcinea)’s condition is named after her (heptanary blood cancer)
• cytherea says she was ‘a nice girl’ like camilla during their fight, she sacrificed herself willingly and cytherea still felt guilty (cf “we take so much” speech) and wanted to take her name as a last name
• mercymorn and augustine absolutely despised her to the point where they said the only good things she ever did were to bring cytherea to canaan and then die for her (!)

i was wondering how to reconcile that last point with the rest and had the idea of a misanthropic medical prodigy who was intensely devoted to cytherea for many years, but also egotistical and controlling (in the way that cytherea recalled hating in her conversation with palamedes), and so probably looked like she was making cytherea’s life hell from an outside perspective (and to a certain extent actually was)…. too dark?? idk i’m having fun

she’s actually slightly younger than cytherea here but her hair is greying from stress lol
